The Romanian coast has had a great promotion, the show being broadcasted live on FashionTV channel

Mamaia resort became Friday night, the venue of the most fashionable event of the summer: FashionTV Black Sea Model Awards on Fashion Summer Festival 2014 stage. The international model competition and Mamaia resort have received great a publicity, the show being broadcasted live on FashionTV channel, with an audience of 850 million viewers in 193 countries on five continents.

Special guest of the event and host for thousands of fans who have been in Mamaia Casino Square, but also for the millions of viewers around the world who watched the show live on FashionTV channel, was Ania J, the official FashionTV MC. She has joined on the stage in Mamaia the romanian FashionTV presenter Claudiu Constantin.

The event included a fashion show signed by Catalin Botezatu and a special moment with the mayor of Constanta, Radu Mazare, the one who made of Mamaia resort an international attraction. Radu Mazare conveyed thanks on stage to FashionTV President Michel Adam for the support provided in promoting the Romanian tourism.

21 young beautiful ladies competed on stage this year for the first place in one of the most important international competitions, which offers them the chance of a top-model carrer on the most coveted catwalks in the world.

The first phase of the competition was held online on www.fashiontv.com, where the contestants have been voted by fans worldwide. On Mamaia FashionTV stage another two steps took place: the participants scrolled in swimwears signed by Vero Milano and in evening couture outfits, signed by the international designer Walid Atallah.

The event ended with the biggest fashion party of the year, at which were invited the 20,000 viewers who watched the show in Mamaia Casino Square.

The show continues on Saturday, August 16, with an evening dedicated to international fashion and a new edition of Mamaia Carnival.
